2026 Letter from Mary Mohr
Dear RITA Members,
Last year brought meaningful progress for our industry. We saw heightened public awareness of self-directed retirement strategies, continued dialogue with regulators, and important efforts among our members to raise standards and promote best practices. Your participation in these conversations has been invaluable, whether through attending our events, contributing to working groups, or sharing feedback that helps shape our advocacy priorities.
Thanks to your support in 2025, RITA was able to:
- Provide education to record levels of attendees for our Conferences and IRA Institutes
- Continue to grow our membership network and industry influence
- Launch a new online portal to increase engagement with members-only resources
- Host 8 educational webinars and member meetings
- Provide 68 legislative and regulatory updates directly to members
- Join the Secure Our Savings 2.0 Coalition with positive legislative results
As we begin this new year, I want to extend my sincere appreciation for your ongoing commitment to our organization and to the broader self-directed industry. Your engagement, expertise, and professionalism strengthen our community and help advance the principles of transparency, compliance, and investor empowerment that guide our work.
Our priorities for 2026 remain clear: strengthening industry representation, providing high quality educational resources, expanding member value, and continuing to foster collaboration among professionals committed to excellence in the self-directed IRA space. We are excited for what lies ahead and grateful to have you with us.
Thank you again for your partnership and for the vital work you do each day. I wish you, your colleagues, and your families a healthy, peaceful, and prosperous New Year.
Thank you,
Mary Mohr
